My dear Grosvenor

I left your last letter unanswered, – not from indifference to it, but because another subject ran away with all the time & paper I had to bestow. And now I have neither the one nor the other. Only – be assured the true physician for all your mental maladies is – the Butler. [1]  Write that book about the Butler which I have been for so many years calling upon you to write. [2]
