2091. Robert Southey to Grosvenor Charles Bedford, [before 7 or 8 May 1812]*

My dear Grosvenor

I have kept this book [1]  some days from a in a state of uncertainty whether I should not take a letter out of <from> the Moor who is so properly disposed of by the way side. [2]  Its purport x being to advise Alaker to make away with Pelayo. – However if I feel this advisable in the progress of the next book the insertion may be made at any time.

When you have done with it direct it to Walter Savage Landor, Bath.

RS.
