Dear Grosvenor
I have just now no more time than to make up a packet for the Grand Parleur, [1] – to beg that you will put this note for the Long Men of the Row into the Twopenny post, – & to tell you that I have, to my great comfort, mounted a pair of Cumberland clogs, in which I clatter away thro the streets of Keswick, & defy all dirt.
