My dear Wynn
Formidable as your office is to a stray foreigner, I shall yet on this occasion venture to crave a passport for one poor Spaniards Letter to his printer. [1] Send it for me to the Twopenny Post.
It would do your heart good to see how beautiful this country is in this beautiful weather. There is quite a pleasure in being alive at such a season. I am more idle than I ought to be for sheer happiness – yet am I getting on, & my summer campaign is likely to be a very busy one.
