Romantic Circles

Mark Canuel is Professor of English at the University of Illinois at Chicago.  He is author, most recently, of Justice, Dissent, and the Sublime (Johns Hopkins, 2012), and he is editor of British Romanticism: Criticism and Debates (Routledge, 2015).  He is currently working on a new book on Romanticism and enlightened discourses of progress from Barbauld to Scott.
