Two figures cross a snowy landscape. To their right a large snowy mountain looms over them in a grey/blue sky. At its feet a sailless ship stands moored in by ice and snow skeletal against the bright mountain behind it. The figures, one in the lower left hand corner, the other almost at the foot of the mountain yards ahead, are following each other other. In relief over the scene in the upper right hand corner is a faded, round, travel stamp and along the bottom an anatomical drawing of a man’s chest with its muscles numbered.

A white background holds a grey globe in its center. The globe contains a large mountain with grey and teal peaks covered in snow under a grey and snowing sky. Beneath the mountain trudging through all the snow is a tall, skeletal, figure hunched over trying to make it’s way up. Under the globe in small type is the title and subtitle in black and Mary Shelley in teal under that.

Light filters through a dark stone tunnel that opens up to a wide arch. The ground is brown and muddy from puddles on the floor and the stones are grey and green with mold. A solitary figure stands at the opening silhouetted against the sun behind it. They are tall and indistinct and it is hard to tell if they coming in or going out. Mary Shelley appears in small cursive script above the title which is large and white.

“What you create can destroy you” hangs over the cover in white script. A bolt of lightning comes down through the words to branch out across a black sky that fades to a blue horizon and sea of ice broken apart by a far away range of snowy mountains. A lone figure with broad shoulders hunched over runs towards the mountains across the ice. Beneath his feet the blue ice turns into a white banner with Mary Shelley in large black print with the title below, smaller, and in a red and black print.

A green/black shadow curves against a tunnel wall lit up with a bright light from behind of a figure in a suit coat running through it. His arm is outstretched to steady himself against the wall and his other arm almost disappears into the glare of the light. The title appears in large white print with an orange and purple glow around the border of each letter. Mary Shelley appears across the knees of the running figure in a cursive orange script with a purple glow around each letter.

A figure, with ragged clothes and ruffled hair stands, bent, silhouetted on top of a rocky outcropping against the bright white and blue mountain range before him. Snow covers the mountain’s tall peaks only slightly obscured by white clouds in the sky. A dark purple banner on the bottom holds the title and Mary Shelley on above the other in white script and information about explanatory notes.

Two bolts of lightning come down like eyebrows over two large bright yellow eyes rimmed in red that glare out of a dark sky that looms over a dark stone castle and tower. Two tall, thin windows, emit two bright flashes through yellow stained glass that shine out mirroring the eyes above it. The title and Mary Shelley appear on the bottom edge in black script with a hazy yellow border.
