We shall be very glad to see you & your friend Mr Hildyard [1]  at tea – The question of the play may then be settled, concerning which there is at present a difference of opinion –

[1] Robert Charles Hildyard (1800–1857) of Catherine Hall, Cambridge (B.A. 1823, M.A. 1826), later a barrister on the Northern Circuit and MP for Whitehaven 1847–1857. At this time he was a fellow student of Charles Kennaway at Cambridge. BACK
