Aaron Ottinger

Aaron Ottinger (PhD, University of Washington) teaches writing and rhetoric in the English Department at Highline College and the history of media in the Department of Digital Technology and Cultures at Seattle University. He was a Communications Fellow for the Keats-Shelley Association (2017-18), and he recently curated a series of posts on Ada Lovelace for the Keats-Shelley Blog. His publications have appeared in Essays in Romanticism, Romanticism and Speculative Realism (Bloombsbury, 2019), and others, with a forthcoming essay in The Palgrave Handbook of Literature and Mathematics. He is currently at work on a manuscript entitled, “Astral Romanticism: Mathematics, Mind, and Speculation, 1759-1843.”
