Emily C. Friedman
Emily C. Friedman is an assistant professor of English at Auburn University. Her work has appeared in Eighteenth-Century Fiction, Studies in English Literature 1500-–1700, and Women’s Writing among others. She has held fellowships for her work in book history and readership, most recently at the University of Virginia’s Rare Book School and the American Antiquarian Society. She is currently completing a book titled Reading Smell in the Eighteenth-Century Novel.
