Joel Pace
Joel Pace is Professor of English at the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire. He is co-editor (with Deanna Koretsky) of a 2019 volume of Symbiosis on Black and LatinX Romanticisms and (with Paul Youngquist) of Studies in Romanticism’s 2017 special issue on Black Romanticism. He spends his time loitering at the crossroads of literature and music. In keeping with this, he has appeared on BBC Radio & BBC Two to discuss authors, race, and music. Also a musician, he’s shared bills with George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic, The Meditations, The Wailers, and Wyclef Jean.
