Mary Fairclough

Mary Fairclough is a senior lecturer in English
literature at the University of Huddersfield, UK. She has published articles
on Romantic period literature and culture in Literature
Compass, Romanticism, and Romanticism and Victorianism on the Net (RaVoN), and
is currently working on a book project entitled Contagious
Sympathy: the crowd, the press and the nation 1750-1850.
