Carmen Faye Mathes is an Assistant Professor of English at the University of Regina, Saskatchewan. She was previously an Assistant Professor at the University of Central Florida, Orlando, which is a school with a longstanding and robust investment in online teaching even before the pandemic. Dr. Mathes's research and teaching draw connections between British Romantic poetry and poetics; historically-situated theories of affect; and questions of aesthetics, ethics and politics.
