Meghan Rosing teaches English at Madison College in Madison, WI and received her PhD from Lehigh University. Her article on Juliana Horatia Ewing’s juvenile serial novel Mrs. Overtheway’s Remembrances appeared in the fall 2013 issue of Victorian Review. She is currently at work on a book project exploring how the mode of cyclical storytelling that structures nineteenth-century children’s magazines primed young readers to understand their communities as continually expanding networks and to extend their social responsibilities beyond the domestic circle.
