Mike Goode is Associate Professor of English at Syracuse University. He has published a book, Sentimental Masculinity and the Rise of History, 1790-1890 (2009), as well as chapters and articles in a variety of books and journals, including Representations, ELH, Textual Practice, Romantic Circles, and PMLA.
