Although most of these titles continued to have long production histories throughout the nineteenth century (both under the Godwins' imprints and those of other publishers), we have chosen to list only the first editions for the sake of clarity. Titles written pseudonymously by Godwin himself are indicated by bold type.

Please note that several major titles were issued in two editions: a cheaply-bound, one-shilling edition for schools, and a more luxurious version costing over twice as much. Many of the titles listed below were small-sized (about 4" by 5"), one-shilling booklets advertised as "presents for youth of both sexes, under ten years of age."
