Ghislaine McDayter
Ghislaine McDayter is a Professor in the Department of English at Bucknell University. Her publications include essays on the Gothic, Byron, Shelley, Wollstonecraft, and Caroline Lamb. She has edited a collection of essays on romanticism and psychoanalysis entitled Untrodden Regions of the Mind (Bucknell Press, 2002). Her most recent book is Byromania and the Birth of Celebrity Culture (SUNY, 2009) and she is presently completing her monograph Licentious Tyrants: Feminism and Flirtation in 18th and 19th Century British Literature.
