Heidi Kaufman
Heidi Kaufman is Associate Professor of English and Jewish Studies at the University of Oregon. She's the author of English Origins, Jewish Discourse, and the Nineteenth-Century British Novel (Penn State Press, 2009) and several essay collections including the forthcoming volume, Caribbean Jewish Crossings (UVA, 2019). She is currently completing a monograph on archival theory and the nineteenth-century East End of London. Her teaching focuses on Victorian studies, Jewish studies, Digital Humanities, and Caribbean studies. She just won a grant from UO to begin building a digital project on Rebellions of the African Diaspora (RAD) during the long nineteenth century.
