My dear Sir

On Friday I go into Kent with Herries. Monday I return for the Westminster Play,

Every December the King’s Scholars at Westminster School, London, gave three performances of a play in Latin. In 1823 it was The Adelphi by Publius Terentius Afer (c. 195/185–159 BC).

& will stay in town on the Tuesday to have the pleasure of dining with you, – if that day should suit you.
