Aishah Al-Shatti

Aishah Al-Shatti is Assistant Professor in the Department of English
Language & Literature at Kuwait University. In 2008 she received her Ph.D. in
English from Glasgow University for a dissertation titled, Appropriations of
the Gothic by Romantic-era Women Writers, and since has taught undergraduate
classes on nineteenth century literature, transatlantic literature, and world
poetry. Her research interests include Romantic-era women writers, the
Gothic, translation, and reception history.
