Andrew Franta is Professor of English at the University of Utah. He is the author two books—Romanticism and the Rise of the Mass Public (Cambridge, 2007) and Systems Failure: The Uses of Disorder in English Literature (Johns Hopkins, 2019)—and has published articles, reviews, and chapters in Critical Inquiry, ELH, PMLA, Poetics Today, Studies in Romanticism, Novel, European Romantic Review, Modern Philology, Eighteenth-Century Studies, Keats-Shelley Journal, The Wordsworth Circle, Romanticism and Victorianism on the Net, Romantic Circles, British Romanticism: Criticism and Debates (Routledge, 2015), and Byron in Context (Cambridge, 2019).
