Ashley Hobson

Ashley graduated from USM with a MA in English, writing a thesis on Christina Rossetti’s unique combination of scientific foundations and Victorian understandings of toxicology, poisons, antidotes, and the medical marketplace in her poem “Goblin Market.” Prior to her MA, she earned a BA in English with a minor in Biological Sciences. She currently serves as the Assistant State Director for Mississippi Postsecondary Student Organizations and is planning on pursuing her Doctorate degree in the Fall of 2026.
