James Brooke-Smith

James Brooke-Smith is an Assistant Professor of English Literature at the University of Ottawa.  He has published articles in Romantic Circles Praxis, Configurations, and Nineteenth-Century Contexts on Romantic literature, media studies, and the history of science and technology.  He is currently at work on a book, Anti-Establishment:  a Cultural History of Britain’s Elite Public Schools, which studies the formation of cultural elites in the nineteenth and twentieth-century education system.
