Lisa Ann Robertson
Lisa Ann Robertson is an assistant professor of English at the University of South Dakota where she teaches classes on eighteenth- and nineteenth-century British literature and culture. She writes about embodiment in the Romantic period, particularly as it relates to theories of cognition, the imagination, transcendence, and education. Her work has appeared in European Romantic Review, La Questione Romantica, and Prose Studies. Currently, she is revising a monograph entitled The Embodied Imagination that considers representations of the body in literary and scientific accounts of the mind and imagination.
