Roxanne Eberle
Roxanne Eberle is an Associate Professor of English at the University of
Georgia. She is the author of Chastity and Transgression in
Women's Writing, 1792-1897: Interrupting the Harlot's Progress
(2002) and the editor of Women and Romanticism
(2006). She is currently at work on a cultural biography of Amelia Opie
(1769-1853), a poet, novelist and abolitionist.
