Stefanie John

Stefanie John is a PhD student at the University of Muenster, Germany, where she is a member of the Graduate Training Group “Literary Form”. Her thesis examines engagements with Romanticism in the poetry of Eavan Boland, Gillian Clarke, John Burnside, and Kathleen Jamie. Her research interests include Romantic poetry and its legacies, contemporary poetry, and relations between aesthetics and politics. Stefanie’s essay “Precision Instruments for Dreaming: Anatomizing Keats in Pauline Stainer’s The Wound-Dresser’s Dream” was published in Romanticism in 2016.
