Julie Murray

Julie Murray is Associate Professor of English at Carleton University. Her essays on Joanna Baillie, Mary Hays, Mary Wollstonecraft, Elizabeth Hamilton, and Edmund Burke have appeared in ELH, Studies in Romanticism, Women’s Writing, Eighteenth-Century Fiction, and Eighteenth-Century Studies. She is currently completing a book-length study entitled “Mary Wollstonecraft, Feminist Historiography, and Modernity.”
