Sarah Gracombe
Sarah Gracombe is Professor of English and Faculty Director of the IDEAS Program at Stonehill College. Her work on nineteenth-century constructions of Englishness and Jewishness has appeared in places such as Nineteenth-Century Literature, Philological Quarterly, George Du Maurier: Illustrator, Author, Critic (Ashgate 2016), the Blackwell Encyclopedia of Victorian Literature (2015), and the forthcoming Bastards and Believers: Jewish Converts and Conversion from the Bible to the Present (U Penn). She is working on a book entitled Reimagining Ruth: the Book of Ruth in English and American Culture, 1800-1950.
