Thomas Schmid

Thomas H. Schmid is Professor of English and Director of Literature at the University of Texas at El Paso. He is the author of Humor and Transgression in Peacock, Shelley, and Byron, which won the Rocky Mountain Modern Language Association book award, Romanticism and Pleasure (co-edited with Michelle Faubert), The Student Guide to Writing About Literature, and Fools of Time, a novel released in 2015 by Texas Review Press.
