This appendix makes available annotated transcripts of three manuscripts relating to Southey’s letter to the Editor of the Courier (see Letter 3775), published in the Courier on 11 January 1822.
Part Seven collects together, in one place, for the first time, the surviving letters written by Robert Southey between 1822 and 1824.
These pages provide information about contemporaries to whom Southey was connected, in particular, correspondents, family and friends.
Information about minor acquaintances and about contemporaries whom Southey did not meet or correspond with can be found in the editorial notes to individual letters.
