Michelle Levy
Michelle Levy teaches Romantic literary culture in the Department of
English at Simon Fraser University. She has written extensively on authorial
practices, the cultures of print and script, and female authors of the
Romantic period, including Jane Austen, Lucy Aikin, Anna Barbauld, Mary
Shelley and Dorothy Wordsworth. Her books include Family Authorship and
Romantic Print Culture (2008) and The Broadview Reader in Book History
(co-edited with Tom Mole, 2014), and she is currently completing a book
investigating the social practices of literary manuscript circulation in
Romantic period.
